XML Advances Personal Lines Standards

Previous releases of CSIO XML Standards for Personal Lines have been propelled into a more robust format through publication of the CSIO XML Business Message Specification, Release 4.x.x.

The migration from Release 3.4.1 to the Release 4.x.x series includes addition of the personal package policy and maintains the ability to work with separate Habitational and Automobile policies.

Based on pre-existing requirements as defined in the CSIO EDI Standards, the new Personal Lines XML messages are comprehensive and contain the business requirements for:

• Homeowner’s, Seasonal & Rented Dwelling
• Personal Property (scheduled personal articles)
• Mobile Home, Vacation Travel Trailer & Watercraft
• Personal Automobile
• Miscellaneous Vehicles (motorcycle, all terrain vehicles & snowmobiles)
• Personal Package (combined home & auto) Policy
• Personal Umbrella

• EDI to XML Mapping documents
• XML Data Samples
• Guidelines to assist with element interpretation

• CSIO Forms to XML Mapping documents
• Implementation, implementation, implementation
