WHAT’S NEW?

In May 2006, CSIO published documentation, CSIO XML Business Message Specification, which defines the structure and rules for the policy and service transactions, (otherwise called Business Messages) down to the individual data elements. The Business Messages, used to exchange information between the insurance company and the broker, include:

• Claims Notification
• Billing Inquiry
